Nama’a Core · Sales and profit

The goal is stronger profitability—not sales alone.

Orders can rise after a deep discount while margin per order falls because of item cost, commission, promotion and advertising. Total sales should not be celebrated before understanding what remains.

01

Every order carries more than one cost

Review selling price, item cost, packaging, commission, discount and campaign spend. Some values may be estimated or unavailable and should be disclosed rather than presenting false precision.

02

A discount is a tool, not an automatic solution

Lower orders may relate to item imagery, downtime, ratings or availability. A promotion may help, but it does not always address the cause and can compress margin without a clear objective and budget.

03

Measure what changed after the action

After a promotion or menu change, compare orders, average basket, margin and available signals against a suitable period. Attributed sales alone do not prove incremental sales or profit.

Common questions

Clear answers before the decision.

Does a high ROAS mean a campaign is profitable?

Not necessarily. ROAS connects attributed sales to ad spend, while profitability requires margin, costs and reliable attribution.

Can net profit be calculated from a platform file alone?

Usually not. Net profit requires item cost and other expenses that may not appear fully in the platform file.
